Are you heading for Beijing this summer to watch the spectacular Olympic Games but you are worried about where your knowledge of Chinese will lead you? If you have an iPhone then perhaps you could use the Google Translate as your translator. But you knew for long that Google Translate does not work well on the iPhone. Ultimately, a solution has been found to deal with the problems of using Google Translate on the iPhone. Allen Hutchison and David Singleton have built an iPhone interface for Google Translate to make your translation task worthwhile on the iPhone. Google Translate for iPhone has been optimized for speed, supports existing Google Translate language pairs and stores past translations you’ve done to view it offline on your iPhone. The service is free of charge and it requires only 1MB of data download to get 200 to 400 translations.
