The Zikom Z510 and the Motorola version of the same (actually it’s the other way around) look like blood brothers when they are kept alongside. Z510’s design lacks inspiration or maybe it’s been inspired by Motorola’s designs too much. Here’s a phone that plays AVI videos, music and takes pictures.
Looking at the Zikom Z510, you get the impression that it’s not that great. Personally, I think the same way too. I think the Zikom designers don’t get paid very well and they have done a poor job of designing the new phone. There’s hardly any difference between the Zikom and Motorola phones.The Zikom designers should be happy that Motorola didn’t sue them for copying their design.
Criticism aside, let’s look at its features in detail. The phone features the following:
* 1.3 Megapixel camera
* GSM
* plays mp3s
* AVI videos.
It pretty much has the standard features like any other phone. However, this one has a poor design. Price to me is a mystery, and frankly i don’t even care. No innovation. Thanks, but no thanks.
