Stillshot iPhone app lets users capture images in video mode

Israel-based start-up Macadamia apps’ Groupshot was an instant hit among iPhone users with over 430,000 downloads since its launch in January 2012. Now they have launched another interesting app, named “Stillshot” that will let you take images even while you’re recording videos. The app analyzes the video frame by frame helping you choose the best one. The images will be of the same resolution as the video, which stands at 1080p for the iPhone 4S.

The app will solve the major problem of switching between video and image modes and you can now snap images even if you’re in the video shooting mode. The app can catch images from any video all you have to do is hit the save button and the image moves to the camera roll.
