Forget a Microscope: Use your Cellphone

My neighbor is a Pro at inconceivable close-up shots with his cell-phone camera. After a hundred attempts and a sore thumb, I gave in to the temptation of asking him how he managed to do what I thought was an impossible task. Trust me, after persuading him and bribing him, I realized he is one tough cookie. Dejected, I clicked on this interesting news-piece and eureka! I had found what I had been looking for all these days.

I cursed myself for being so dumb. I am sure not many of you, either, would have hit upon this ingenious plan. Using a magnifying lens to a cell-phone camera, like the iPhone used by the writer of the articles, is not something that would strike you the moment you think of close-up shots. An LED flashlight also adds to the contrast. So, I had finally decided not to buy the pricey microscope after all. I must admit – this is one heck of an idea.
