Samsung has introduced the Samsung Mondi MID Slider that will be commercially available on Cleanwire’s mobile WiMAX service areas that include Vegas, Atlanta, Portland and Oregon. The Windows Mobile 6.1 slider is all about high-speed internet access power in the hand. Powered by the 800MHz ARM 11-processor, this option works in the other US states as well but, with an Opera Browser that seeks connectivity through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The MID has a 4.3-inch screen with a QWERY keyboard. Samsung has customized the interface enabling widgets to be placed as per ones own preferences. It is important to know that this doesn’t offer traditional cellular voice support (how we wish it did!) but you will find settings for VoIP.
