Indian cellphone manufacturer, Chaze Mobiles has signed famous Indo-Canadian soft porn star Sunny Leone as its brand ambassador. Company’s PR says that the company want to reach the masses by having the celebrity, who aspires to be a Bollywood actress, as its ambassador.
Chaze Mobiles is trying to target the ultra low end cellphone market, which seems over crowded now. Sunny says that she is delighted to be a part of a company that tries to help out masses with ultra low end devices. With Sunny Leone, Chanze mobiles will probably sell more than other cheap, Chinese mobile phones. This phone is meant for Indian Youth with reasonable pricing and quality.
Chaze has currently launched two affordable models C123 and Jewel. These two basic handsets boast a big battery for extra talk time. C555 is a relatively expensive model, with a larger screen and massive speaker sound output. C234 is the fourth model and has a touch and type interface. This phone has features like dual SIM, call recording, answering machine, big speakers, spy camera etc. This phone comes with great games like Angry Birds and Astro Pack.
This is going to be the first endorsement and TV commercial for the rising star. Chaze would have a great retail network and 600 plus service stations around the country. Chaze mobile has also decided to put up an assembly unit in Himachal Pradesh. These cellphone would cost between Rs. 1500 to Rs. 3500. These phones would be available across the nation through a strong distribution channel.
