Since the Apple iPhone was launched a good two years ago, competition has always tried to play catch up, with little success. Now in the backdrop of the 3G iPhone being launched the next month, it isn’t surprising to see a few manufacturers lining up their offerings to take on the might of the iPhone in Europe. Samsung has put together a very slim and sexy phone called the TOUCHWIZ. This phone apart from being HSDPA enabled has plenty of features that makes it look like a very worthy competitor to the 3G iPhone. For starters you have a very slim form of with a 2.8 inch touch sensitive screen.
A five megapixel camera does the snapping duties and you can expand the memory all the way upto 8GB. That might fall a little short of the iPhone but then Samsung hasn’t officially announced that this phone will be their iPhone challenger. Other bells and whistles include a MP3 player, FM Radio, Stereo Bluetooth and mobile blogging and Google maps. All these features give the TOUCHWIZ plenty of ammo to be a good competitor, but it just doesn’t seem have that bit of cutting edge innovation which has always let the iPhone walk away with top honours ever since it’s launch.
