Samsung Ultra Series comes to AT&T

Samsung recently officially made an announcement of their SGH-A717 and SFH-A727Ultra Series handsets for AT&T (Cingular), though the manufacturer had displayed both at CES. Both phones sport quad-band GSM, dual-band HSDPA, Bluetooth, MicroSD slot and Video Sharing. Definitely, those model numbers aren’t too tempting unless you keep in mind that these are members of Samsung’s 3G Ultra range for Stateside consumption: the 12.9-mm thin A717 clamshell and 9.9-mm A727 candybar.

The A717 is likely to be shipped in on June 4th for $150 with the A727 to follow in the next-up weeks for $100 — subsequent to 2-year bond and obviously $50 mail-in return, which you will most likely not remember to relay in. So, Cingular subscribers, be ready to get hold of your thin AT&T on.
