Nokia officially announces E66 and E71 Symbian smartphones

The future of the Nokia E series is finally officially here with the Nokia E71 and Nokia E66 Symbian smartphones. Succeeding the Nokia E61i, the Nokia E71 comes packed with a full-QWERTY keypad, while the Nokia E66 (successor to the Nokia E65 ) comes without one. Both the phones, however, score well on other features including Infrared port, microUSB port, Bluetooth (A2DP and EDR), built-in GPS receiver with Nokia Maps, 3 mp ASF camera that can shoot video upto VGA resolution at 22 fps, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as 110MB internal memory that can be boosted upto 8GB via a microSD card. The smartphones also support a wide range of personal and business email standards like Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email solution, along with System Seven, Visto Mobile, Encryption and mobile VPN support. Now both the phones will feature stainless steel cases and etched graphics and will be available in grey steel or white colors when they start shipping in July with a retail price of 350 euro before taxes and subsidies.
