The famous photo sharing application Instagram gets a new update as HTC One X didn’t support its previous version for Android. The new version, codenamed the Instagram 1.0.4, comes with many more features including improved support for smartphones and tablets with Nvidia Tegra 3 chips. The app now works quite smoothly on the new HTC phone. One X users can enjoy some fancy art and image sharing with the updated Instagram app.
Instagram 1.0.4 for Android brings many new features. The update fixes several bugs that tablet users were complaining about. The new Android client of Instagram will frequently update location for geotag. Further, the app will extend better support for Nvidia Tegra 3 handsets including tablet PCs. It will also offer increased support for the integrated camera and filters of the device, of course, including that of HTC One X.
HTC One X is the Taiwanese tech maker’s first quad core smartphone, which was announced at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, Spain. It was found that the device didn’t support the older version of Instagram. It forced the Instagram developers to launch the new update for Android platform.
Meanwhile, social media giant Facebook will take over Instagram and its 13 employees for about $1billion in stock and cash. Well, Instagram, which was started in October 2010, has made huge success as a photo sharing tool for iOS and Android. HTC One X users can now also enjoy Instagram to capture, modify and share images with friends on social media sites.
