We haven’t heard much from the Finnish giant on the iPhone killer but what we do have from them as a surety is that the OS Linux would feature as running software for all applications. All this meaning that it would be fully functional software and those handsets would come to be known as Linux mobiles unlike the current 800 and 810 which use the software for internet functions. What is though not known is the version of Linux which will eventually be put to use in mobile phones. This would probably bid adieu to the use of Symbian based cell-phones over a long period of time and would also see those uselessly hyped PDAs coming to ground quickly. All that we now wait for is an announcement from the company where they declare a model as the first Linux mobile.
