Yahoo and Linksys have joined hands to unveil the new dual-mode cordless phone that allows you to make free calls via Yahoo! Messenger or your traditional phone line. The Linksys CIT 310 supports calling to another phone over VoIP at the rate of $0.2 cents with Yahoo-out. With the Yahoo Messenger, the cordless phone enables free PC to PC calling, PC to phone calling, and Phone to Phone calling.
You have the option to make calls via a traditional phone line too. The Linksys CIT 310 comes with a USB base station to plug into the PC and it charges the phone too. The CIT 310 will cost you $99.99 in retail and $79.99 if you purchase one on Amazon.
