Karbonn unveils KT21 Express, dual SIM GSM handset for Rs. 4,500

Indian handset maker Karbonn Mobiles has surfaced a fresh dual-SIM GSM cell phone, dubbed the KT21 Express. The new version of the dual SIM handset adds one more to the company’s escalating collection of low-priced feature phones with multimedia capabilities. The new KT21 Express features an interesting form factor with a body flaunting metallic finish and touch-and-type input attribute.

The Karbonn KT21 Express sports a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen. It is further equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash. To surprise you, the camera flash acts like a torchlight as well. Under the hood, the handset touts 16GB of integrated memory and the phone mounts a microSD slot for expansion of memory up to 32GB.

Similar to other low-priced feature phones in India, the Express also comes with enhanced multimedia features. Thus, you can record voice and video and play multiple audio and video formats on the device. Moreover, it features a facility to let users watch more than fifty live internet TV channels and Video on Demand content. Maybe, it might be a result of Karbonn’s recent tie-up with DigiVive’s for the latter’s mobile TV app, the NexGTv.

The handset also features FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. You can connect the device with internet via a multiple options that include Bluetooth, WAP, EDGE and GPRS. The KT21 Express also comes with a push-mail service, a PIN-based Karbonn Instant Messenger (KIM) and many other services for free of cost. A 1000 mAh Li-ion battery will power the phone, which will be available for Rs. 4,500 across India shortly.
