Apple’s 2.0.1 firmware is here now. This firmware update for the iPhone and iPod touch can now be downloaded. Though there are no significant changes but few performance boosts have been reported so far. iPhoneBuzz’s latest comparative browser usage shows that browsing on 2.0.1 is quite faster than 2.0 as modem’s firmware has been updated. Other than that, there is improvement in call quality and reception.
This update is about 242 MB and is available right now for being installed. If you are not aware then few days back iTunes too got updated. Head to Apple site for more details or if you are too eager to download the update then do so right now as this download is available on iTunes for download.
