Huawei to launch X5 Pro and Honor smartphones in India

April is going to be a busy month in smartphone releases. After HTC and Sony Ericsson, now Huawei has announced that they will launch Huawei X5 Pro and Honor in India this month. Both are mid-ranged smartphones. Huawei X5 Pro will be priced at Rs 15,499, while Honor at Rs 19,990.

Huawei X5 pro and Honor

Huawei X5 Pro is an advanced version of Ideos X5 which was launched in 2011. X5 Pro works on a 1 GHz snapdragon and supports high end smartphone tasks. The phone is a HD video Cloud specialist. Other new features include Message+ and phone finder. The phone runs on Android v2.3 just like Huawei Honor.

Huawei Honor is the second phone to be released this month. The phone can be upgraded to Android v4.0 Ice cream sandwich. It has a 1.4 Ghz processor, an 8 megapixel primary camera with HDR and 0.3 megapixel front facing camera. The phone is sleek with a width of only 10.9 mm. The built in gyroscope provides an unbeatable gaming experience. This phone is DLNA certified which implies that it works great with other DLNA certified devices like cameras, TVs and Gaming consoles. The phone has the best battery backup in the 4 inch category and promises two to three days of backup after a single complete charge.
