This product is built with Beats Audio Technology that delivers superior audio quality. This handset is power driven by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor for enhanced performance, 4.3-inch touch screen and 540 X 960 resolution. It also includes a 1730mAh battery that enables to have a talk time of 9.16 hours and stand by time of 310 hours. It also includes 768MB of random access memory (RAM) and an 8-megapixel camera capable of 1080 progressive scan high definition video recording and 0.3 mega pixels camera for video call. Android v2.3.4 operating system is included in it. There is a dual light-emitting diode (LED) flash and front facing video graphics array (VGA). The dimensions of this smart phone are 4.96 x 2.57 x 0.44 (126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3 mm) and weigh around 151 grams with battery. The physical size of handset is 4.30 inches.
Pricing and availability
Sensation XE is planned to launch in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The price of the product is not yet finalized. HTC is expected to release the product in the market towards the end of September 2011.
What’s great?
This handset is the first smartphone that offers Beats Audio and also comes with 3.5 mm Beats in-ear headphones with Dr. Dre sound profile. The headphones provided along with this headset once plugged in will enable the user to listen to bass, sharp and broader range of optimized sound profile. The in-ear headphone also includes a remote control. The remote control can be used to play, pause, and change the tracks, answering or rejecting the calls. It also includes a microphone. The phone has red highlights and back lighting for touch sensitive buttons. The Beat Audio allows the device in providing superior audio quality not only at the time of listening to the music but also while using other applications or even while playing games. A micro-USB 2.0 with 5-pin port is available for universal serial bus (USB) or high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) connection. It supports .3gp, .3g2, .mp4, .wmv, .avi .xvid video formats.
It also has a Gyro, G-sensor, digital compass, light and proximity sensor along with a 3D graphics hardware acceleration. The handset also features eight or sixteen Giga Bytes MicroSD memory card, along with quad band GSM, dual band 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and FM radio. Internet browsing is possible and includes built in access to online services such as face book, you tube, Picasa, twitter and others. Sensation XE enables record videos and images with full high definition camcorder. It also allows trimming videos and sharing them in social networking. Through its plug ins, movies and photos can also be shared on big TV screen. It can also be connected to Wi-Fi printer for taking printout of documents, web pages and others.
What not so great?
The phone is only in black color. There is no choice of choosing any other color. It is expected to be expensive for consumers to afford. The phone includes 0.3 mega pixels of camera which is less as compared to other phones that have 2 mega pixels of camera.

Thus, sensation XE smartphone is exclusive with its premium design, qHD display, crystal clear sound quality and Beats audio technology. This smartphone is easy to use and is a best entertainer compared to other smartphone previously released by HTC by providing ultimate multimedia experience and standard quality audio.
