GSM-only Blackberry Storm gets the thumbs up

FCC has now given the green signal to the GSM version of the Blackberry Storm, which has already gone live on the Verizon site. The GSM version of the phone sports GSM and WCDMA 2100, but no CDMA like the 9530 World Edition, which will appear on Verizon. Technical specs are the same as for the Storm 9530.

Technical Specifications: 1GB of memory, 192MB RAM, Standby time of 528 hours, MicroUSB port, MicroSD and MicroSDHC support for up to 8GB, 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus, Video capture, and Assisted GPS.

No word on pricing and availability for now.
