Flashlights Are Passe, Use The iPhone Instead!

iphone qLgd2 3342From brickbats to accolades, this gadget has seen it all. Since its launch, the iPhone has been a revelation. The concept per se has spawned many lookalikes. The reason – the iPhone has simply been the first ever phone to incorporate every known feature under the sun and yet had the ability to include many more. Exploring its feature range has been a full-time job for many and here we are, introducing another lip smacking feature that would take its popularity several notches higher. We have seen flashlights on basic Nokia phones and most of us have used whatever photons our phones have offered to grope around when it is dark. With the iPhone, struggle seems to be the last word. A million applications have been developed for this phone and the DoApp myLite is the latest. This application would now earn the phone the epithet ‘Shining Star’, and this time, quite literally!

The myLite application transforms the iPhone into a powerful LED flashlight with color spectrum and brightness controls. With the phone’s touch slider control, you can choose between fluorescent (cool) or incandescent (warm) light options. And for the disco light effect, you can also vary the color spectrum. The application will be available from July 11 for a measly 99 cents. The ubiquitous, bulky flashlight will soon witness its demise.
