The new N-Gage platform has been re-energized after having committed a serious error by barring transfers of games to new phones owing to an accidental slip, and doing tons of losses to customers in displaying least of commonsense. It was a grave blunder, indeed. This sheer lack of sense may have allowed the customers to bid adieu to N-Gage brand and subsequently allow N-Gage competitors to burgle N-Gage’s user base. Certainly, these were the possibilities. Earlier N-Gage games were linked to a single device having each game’s activation code tied to your phone’s unique IMEI number. Upgrading to a new phone would have implied that you need to buy all games again. Moreover, the activation codes would have to be issued once more if users had to refurbish their mobile. So, it’s a good step in direction to regain the lost confidence of the N-gage users and to restore their faith in Nokia.
