In its effort to woo the mobile phone consumers, LG seems to be focusing more and more on the specifications of the camera incorporated within the phones. No longer satisfied with the 5-megapixel cameras fitted with LG Viewty or LG KC550, LG is now bringing in 8-megapixel camera to its upcoming devices. After announcing the 8-megapixel camera on the high-end Viewty successor Renoir KC910, FCC has approved another 8-megapixel LG phone, a new affordable KC series phone – LG KC780. The 8MP camera will come with auto focus, red eye reduction, face recognition and 30fps video recording features. Other specs of the KC780 include quadband GSM, GRPS/EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 and 140 MB internal memory with capability of memory extension via microSD memory card.
