Fastap to make the mobile keypad more user-friendly

new keypad phone

A radical new keypad design is all set to change the way you text on your cell phone; forever. Fastap, as the system is called, uses a combo of raised and lowered keys that will allow manufacturers to fit in all the 26 letters of the alphabet, 12 numeric and punctuation keys, and a space bar along with shift and delete buttons on an area that is about a third of a standard business card! The new ergonomic design prevents accidental pressing of two keys at the same time and claims to deliver faster texting results than the standard 12-button cellphones keypad. A cell phone called the ZTE D-series, featuring the new keypad has been announced in the States and with LG Electronics licensing the technology for UK, you can well expect the Fastap to be out on other mobile models soon!
