With an aim to capture the bulk of the wireless purchasing market, Apple has filed a patent that might rid the customers of waiting in queues for good. The recently revealed patent, filed in 2006, is titled ‘Wireless communication system’ and seeks to enable buyers to use their iPhone and iPod Touch devices to place orders and make payments online. The customers can then conveniently pick up their purchases from the store without wasting time waiting in a line. If it goes through, the patent might prove to be a great time-saver and stress-reliever for all those who hate to stand in those endless Starbucks queues in the morning.
