LG certainly missed a trick with its first edition of the Prada i.e. KE850 Handset despite being blessed with full touch screen interface. A little more rationality could have seen this phone attaining greater heights but for a few blemishes like that 2.5G connectivity. Nonetheless, LG has understood the unexplored potential of this great looking phone and now plans to load it with features capable of pitting it against the 3G enabled iPhone. Another good factor is that they have teamed up with Prada to ultimately have an LG Prada II lined up with secretly revealed features like a 5 megapixel camera, affixed at the rear of a slider phone with a QWERTY keyboard.
There would also be a front camera specially embed for video calls and a slot for a SDHC memory card extendable upto 8GB. Speculators are hoping to see this phone in the last quarter of this year and it would be interesting to see what kind of challenge it poses to the 3G enabled iPhone. If the 32GB iPhone version isn’t a goof, then this could be a lame battle but with those 8GBs, it could be quite a fight.
