We knew it was coming, but the leaked internal document from Walmart is showing the 8GB and 16GB version of the iPhone instead of the rumored $99 4GB version. Anyway, Apple iPhone 3G will hit Walmart stores on the 28th of December. Selected Walmart stores will also have an internal pilot program to ensure everything is going fine. They are charging $197 for the 8GB iPhone 3G and $297 for the 16GB version with a two year AT&T service agreement. But, what happened with the $99 4GB iPhone? Should we really wait for it?
