I have an iPad with DropBox v1.3. It is configured with 500MB of local storage set aside for synchronizing files. When I have internet connectivity, everything works as you would expect, however if there is no active internet connection I cannot view any files in Dropbox. This is not particularly useful. I assume that if I have enough storage set aside on my iPad for Dropbox to keep synchronized files the files are stored somewhere on the iPad. Now I can see the need for connectivity to Dropbox to see if the files are current, but I don’t see why Dropbox would deny me access to the files that I have stored locally on the iPad. Why I am not able to view files in DropBox without iPad internet access? Please advice. Thanks.
