AT&T and the iPhone 3G have inspired many rival carriers to dream about upstaging them, and not many have been successful in coming up with an iPhone killer yet. The best bet would be, if rumors were to be believed, Verizon’s venture to release BlackBerry 9530 Storm, which was formerly known as BlackBerry Thunder. It also will take 3/4 weeks for the touchscreen BlackBerry handset to get Technical Acceptance, and may be launched in mid November. The real attraction of this phone could be the touchscreen, which probably is the first BlackBerry handset to have so. Moreover, Verizon may have to clear many bugs and improve the look before the handset is launched to kill the iPhone.
