Verizon Slashes Smartphone Pricing to $99 on a 2-year contract

verizon slashes pricing for smartphones to 99

Verizon or for that matter all the other service providers barring AT&T seemingly do not have a phone to match the Apple iPhone. But then, there is always a way out to pose a challenge and Verizon has done that by slashing down the prices of all the smartphones to $99 with a 2-year contract. That proposal matches the $99 Contract for 2-years on which the iPhone is available from AT&T. There will be a few smartphones which will not fall under the scheme and would cost more than this standard price and this list includes BlackBerry Tour and Samsung Saga alongwith the upcoming Touch Pro2 and Storm 2. The best ones for that slashed price would be the likes of the HTC Pro and BlackBerry Storm.
