Verizon coming to Samsung i770 and Treo 800w

While we have for sometime been hearing about Samsung i770 and Treo 800w, but not all of us knew that both upcoming cellphones will be associated with Verizon Wireless. A leaked document from Verizon has revealed these plans.

The Samsung i770 slated to be released in the third quarter of this year will flaunt Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, external memory and Micro-SD slot, 2MP camera, VZ navigator, stereo. It is said to be the replacement of the i830 and i760.

As for the Palm Treo 800w, it is the updated version of Treo 700w with similar features but with integrated camera, 320×320 pixels touchscreen display and Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional.

Verizon has further confirmed about its PTT plans with no release date. Verizon’s Push-to-Talk is expected to be the next generation technology with faster connectivity with EV-DO or high-speed wireless broadband capability. In addition, to be released soon is the Novatel Global USB data card.
