Toshiba reveals three new G-series phones

With the cellphone market already flooding with new phones, Toshiba had still found out some spare space to launch three new beauties. The new phones are a part of Toshiba’s brilliant G-Series and includes the lights of G450, G710 and G910.

While all these phones have something special to offer the best of the lot is the G450, which comes loaded with a rather unusual double-circular dial pad. Going by the words of the company this is in place to keep the phone small enough so that it can directly attach to a computer through a USB for use as a 3G cellular modem. The device, which is capable of 3G Internet over HSDPA and UMTS in Europe, comes with a small OLED screen, 160MB of memory and will sell for around $290 in mainland Europe.

The second of the lot is the G710, which is the company’s first clear attempt to enter the smartphone business. This device will come loaded with a 2.4-inch screen, QWERTY keypad and Live GPS that will all run on a Windows Mobile 6 Standard OS . This 2.5G device should sell for about $440 in Europe.

The third phone revealed is the G910, which is more of an updated version of the G900. This flip-open smartphone will use Windows Mobile 6 Professional on a wide-aspect, 800 X 480 3-inch screen. The device also flaunts 3G HSDPA and UMTS access in Europe, front VGA camera and a 2MP main camera on the rear side of the phone. This device should be selling for about $880 in Europe. The availability date of these devices is not yet available.
