Android enabled devices are termed as smart phones and they have gained an unexpected popularity among all. Previously back up was done by using a PC, but now it is considered outdated with the advent of Apple iPhones in the market which use an app called iTunes for the same.

Instructions

1. Use MyBackup Pro to back up call log, SMS, and MMS.

2. Use SMS Backup+ to save the text messages as threaded emails in google mail box.

3. The text messages from the sender along with the email address will be stored in Gmail account mailbox.

4. Use any name for the saved for the saved text messages for convenient search.

5. SMS Backup helps to back up the MMS, but it is unable to restore them.

6. Use Sprite Backup to restore call log, SMS, and MMS.

7. To back up the emails, re-install the Gmail app after the phone has been wiped completely.

8. Mails will be downloaded from the server automatically when the app is launched.

9. To back up the calendar, sign in to calendar.google.com to restore the calendar in Google.

10. Android contacts are also saved in the Gmail account. To save the contacts, go to google.com/contacts.

11. All the contacts will be imported to the Google account.

12. To restore the apps in the android, use Astro file manager as it is the best file manager available in the app store.

13. To restore the apps, go to Menu.

14. Click on the Tools.

15. Select back up in the Application Manager.

16. Select all apps needed to be backed up.

17. Photos and music can be restored as it is saved in the SD card.

18. System settings can be restored by MyBackup Pro.

1: Can I access to my data before re-installing them to another phone?
