Ok, so I’m a little shaky on my Spanish these days but that certainly did not stop me from using Google translate and discovering that the precious iPhone will hit Spain in approximately two weeks time. According to Spanish site Apple Weblog, Telefonica’s mobile wing Movistar will launch the 3G iPhone on June 18 at the grand opening of Telefonica’s megastore at the company’s building in Madrid’s Gran Via. The phone will be available nationwide within a few days after the initial launch which shall be pretty exciting for all the colorful Spaniards looking forward to take a bite out of the juicy Apple!
