The designer of this rare looking phone could have me butchered for it wasn’t his intention to pip this strange looking phone with a design year but for its looks, I had no other option than to have the deed done. The reason obviously is its design format which is way too avant-garde for today’s users. Imagine a phone that folds up into half the size of a cigarette packet and scatters with five different interfaces each with a specific usage, with the rear one of the lot displaying the time. There you see, how aptly that product year was suffixed to its name! Emir Rifat managed to a win the Istanbul Design Week 2007 prize for the best concept phone and frantically speaking that’s all that the phone is worth at present, no indiscretion intended!
