Music mobile phones are a rage these days. Mobile phones are no longer a ‘for calls only’ device. In the age of consumerism, people always seek more. For music buffs, there is no greater treat than a mobile phone that plays music with dedicated music keys. Throw in good looks for the additional attraction and you have AT&T’s LG Trax.

With its clamshell form factor, LG Trax would perhaps resemble some of the models released by other companies. However, its features are absolutely unique. The phone boasts of the fastest HSDPA (3G) network available in the market today, which means you can access the net at speeds almost equal to a broadband connection.

The most interesting feature in this phone is the eMusic Mobile service, an exclusive music download feature that helps you download 7 songs every month for a fee of $9.95. And, each song takes less than a minute to download with the phone’s 3G connection. You can also use the service with a Napster subscription.

Additional features include a 1.3 MP camera, Stereo Bluetooth, etc. However, there is one drawback with the phone. You can download just 1 song at a time with the music service.

The phone costs a reasonable $129, considering the range of features that it offers. The LG Trax is available with a two-year agreement with AT&T.
