With HTC, you can always be sure that the reputation will precede the noise. PDAs from its stables have always been associated with world-class reliability and top-end functionality. Not surprising, therefore, that HTC has announced the latest addition to its touch family – the P3400i – with minimum fuss. An intuitive interface, stylish (take that for granted!) design, and a whole range of features makes the P3400i a class act. Although designed specifically for the entry level market, the phone will certainly give other higher-end models a run for their money. It isn’t an overstatement ‘coz the phone packs in a punch with a wide array of applications that enable music, videos, emails, and office productivity. The P3400i runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 and comes loaded with Windows Live Messenger. The most interesting addition, though, is the HTC Home – an exclusive feature that offers instant access to a number of applications. Other features include a 2.8inch screen, DirectPush Mail, IE Mobile, Quad-Band, a 2MP camera, Speakerphone and PIM applications.
It is quite natural to assume that a fully-loaded phone like the P3400i would burn a hole in your pocket. Wrong! The sleek handset costs an affordable $488, which makes it a coveted product indeed.
