eshsteh
Sprint has been rolling out EVDO coverage very rapidly to compete with that of Verizon’s. Now, Sprint has revealed that it would soon introduce the advanced and upgraded technology, EV-DO Revision A, in the last quarter of 2006 for around 40 million users. As EVDO provides fast wireless broadband access (3G) internet service directly to your laptop, the new EV-DO Revision A would encourage users to download the information at a swift speed of 450 – 800 kbps with an upload speed of 300 – 400 kbps via the mobile broadband data services . This will really add to the fast downloads of multimedia applications and fast video telephony. Sprint would be offering the connection cards in PCMCIA Type II, USB and ExpressCard form factors that will work on the current Sprint Power Vision network. Not to say, Sprint is not leaving any stone unturned to wear the crown of leading EV-DO service provider.
