According to Splashgain, ePravesh is the first-of-its-kind Android app. It gives users complete details regarding an educational institute. The app comes with a huge database of information like college brochures, course details, important dates, fee structure, admission procedure and much more. For an Andorid user, the process will be quite simple that he/she can just open the app on their Andorid handset and search for details about a particular college. Well, it will immensely help students find the better college.

The application is available free of cost for Android platform. It will run on all Android-based gadgets. The ePravesh app touts a nice interface and design. After selecting an institute, users can just see its brochure and look for all other details in a few clicks. The app also has a one-touch call facility to the institute. Of course, a student can save time without the need to either visit a college or access web for updates on admission process. The entire things will be there on ePravesh app, claims Splashgain.

As per Mr. Samir Kamat, CEO of ePravesh, the Android app is an attempt to reproduce the system which is prevalent in foreign countries, which largely depend on such apps for admission and other educational purposes. Since the foreign universities have started to make foray into the Indian market, it is high time the country should have more sophisticated technologies and facilities to streamline the admission procedure through web and handheld devices. That is why an Android application has been exclusively designed for facilitating the admission process, he says.

Of course, mobile applications like ePravesh have huge importance in India, which has a growing count of smartphone customers. A report by Boston Consulting Group says that 25 million mobile users out of the total 500 million in the country are smartphone owners and it is counting. Needless to mention, with a huge presence of Andorid in a variety of products, Android platform has a significant reach in Indian market. Hence, students and parents will be highly helpful of such an app, which introduces M-Commerce as a salient future, says Mr. Swapnil Dharmadhikari, Founder & Director of Splashgain Technology Solution, which has already given birth for other commendable educational services like Bookshelf, Eklavya and others.
