A latest update on Official Sony Facebook page has stated that Sony has started offering Android 4.0 updates for Xperia phones and Sony Ericsson Live in India. Sony started updating phones to 4.0 in the mid of this month, though it was initially scheduled for March end. The update has finally come to India after covering countries like Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. In India, this update would be available on Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray.
There are 11 models in total that will receive this update. The list includes following Xperia models: Arc, Arc S, PLAY, Neo and Neo V, Mini, and mini pro, pro, Active and Ray. All these devices would be covered by the first week of June while Sony Xperia S would be updated by the end of the second quarter.
These updates cannot be received over the air and you would need a PC or Mac for the updates. For more details and receive updates, check out the official Sony website.
