Sony Ericsson’s much awaited smartphone, the Xperia X1, might see a mid-September launch. This is according to a press release from developer Handango. Coming to what this very cutting edge phone offers, you have a nice three inch touch sensitive screen that sits in a stylish arc-slider form. Push open the arc slider for a nice qwerty keypad that business users will absolutely love for its sheer convenience. The X1 is designed to work with the Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system which will work in almost anywhere as it has quad-band functionality. The GPS module gets bumped up to become AGPS, an acronym for advanced GPS, and WiFi is bog standard on the X1. Snapping duties are handled by a 3.2 megapixel camera which we expect, will live up to the high Sony Ericsson clarity standards. So all in all, the X1 is a very good looking mobile phone that is loaded with all the right features.
