The Aino hasn’t been that big a tormentor considering that it has already been announced unlike the XPERIA members which played the hiding game for a long while. The Sony Ericsson Aino has now cleared the FCC tests with AT&T compatible GSM 850/1900 and WCDMA 850/1900 bands. Other connectivity facet which makes the phone proud is its 3G compatibility. The Aino is not exactly a smartphone and it is better defined as a multimedia feature phone with a 3-inch (240 by 432) touchscreen. Also, there is an alphanumeric keypad, WiFi and GPS. The best part is that the Aino comes with an 8MP camera on the rear. Just in case AT&T does not announce this phone (which is unlikely), it will then go on sale as an unlocked handset.
