While Apple will take its time to come up with a solar powered iPhone, a firm called Solar Arcadia has come up with a solar powered casing for your iPhone. This eco-friendly iPhone case is basically a lithium ion battery pack with a solar panel that doubles as a flip cover for the iPhone. This is a real green idea, except for the fact that the case is made of leather. Anyway, this solar case features an LED status indicator. They claim that an empty iPhone battery can be recharged in 3 hours when the included Li-Ion battery pack is full. When the battery pack is empty, you can get your iPhone recharged directly from the power of the Sun itself.
