Samsung Galaxy S3 to launch in blue and white models, with screen protector

Presumably, the new Galaxy S3 will be released on May 3, 2012. The Korean tech maker’s scheduled media event, dubbed the Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012, in London will bring forth the largely awaited third generation Galaxy S handset. However, rumors over the features of the flagship Android handset still continue to pour in. A recent rumor, which is based on a tipster’s photo of Carphone Warehouse’s product list, says that the device may come in blue and white colors.

Samsung has been following black color for its Galaxy S series. But its Galaxy Note ‘phablet’ features two colors: the carbon blue and ceramic white. Hence, there is a chance that the company may launch its Galaxy S3 in two colors other than the typical black. However, the blue color of Galaxy Note is highly deeper and so it looks like black. Maybe, the new Galaxy S3 may also feature the same ‘blackish’ blue, which can only be recognized if put under specific lighting.

Another prominent rumor regarding the Galaxy S3 is that it will come with an advanced screen protector. Unwire HK has initiated the rumor referring to the supplier of the screen projector to Samsung. What is interesting with the protector is that it is lavishly suitable for the 4.7-inch screen of HTC One X. It means that the new Galaxy S3 will come with a display that is a bit larger than the One X, if the rumor is correct.

Anyway, we may wrap up all our rumors over the upcoming Galaxy S3 by this evening. Samsung is about to announce a new Galaxy device in London today. Most possibly and certainly, the so-called “new Galaxy device” would be the largely awaited Galaxy S3.
