Review: Motorola Moto G

Motorola has launched his new Android Smartphone as Motorola Moto G. It was unveiled on November 13, 2013, a well-featured and affordable device in the world of phones, costing ₹ 12,499.

Specs

The display comprises of 4.5 inches, which offers you a high resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, much sharper than its predecessor does. Moto G has a processor 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400. It has a RAM of 1GB. The OS Motorola Moto G is Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and upgradable to 4.4.2 KitKat. Motorola Moto G has a rear camera of 5 MP and a 1.3 MP front facing camera. Internal storage of 8 GB, which can be expandable to 16 GB with help of microSD card, is good. Motorola Moto G has a non-removable Li-Ion 2070mAh battery. Connectivity options include micro-SIM card slot, 3G (HSDPA) support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Display

Motorola Moto G has display of 720 x 1280 pixels, 4.5 inches (   ̴326 ppi pixel density), IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, 16M colors and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Camera

It has a 5 MP rear view camera, (4:3 for full resolution),  1.3 MP  front camera, LED flash, 4x digital zoom, slow motion video, burst mode, auto HDR, panorama and tap to focus. Users can capture videos (720p (front and rear) at 30 fps.

Hardware

Motorola Moto G has all plastic body protecting the device. The 4.5” display looks amazing. The front of the device offers you the display of 4.5 inches; Gorilla Glass 3 protects the screen and the capacity of multi touch. The chrome finish gives the device a shiny, sleek and glamorous look than other smartphone in this range.

The new Motorola Moto G has a processor of 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 and RAM of 1GB is present on the device. It is the Android Smartphone, running on the Android version 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Connectivity

This device is supported with micro-SIM feature well equipped with 3G, GPRS and HSDPA. You get full Wi-Fi support and Hot Spot. Quick sharing of multi-media files will be easier with its advanced Bluetooth 4 and micro USB.

Battery

Motorola Moto G is powered with the battery of Li-Ion 2070mAh which will get you through the day with average usage. It has non-removal battery.
