Phillips 9@9 phone series doesn’t require charging

Phillips may not be a house hold name when it comes to mobiles but the recently launched 9@9 series can put the longest battery life phone to shame.

With reported max battery life for talk time being 10 hours you can go on and on forever and the not so frequent users can think of battery life in terms of days and weeks.

These phones have standby time of 40 days and they have three models to offer in this range pictured left to right.

1) Phillips Xenium 9@9a:

It the most basic phone of the range with a 1.5-inch OLED display with battery giving talk time of 10 hours and standby time of 40 days. It is GSM compatible set with 2MB of internal memory.

2) Phillips Xenium 9@9d:

It’s little bit advanced from the above set with a shorter talk time battery life of 8.5 hours. But in terms of features it adds 1.3-megapixel camera, USB1.1, Bluetooth JAVA 2.0 and a 128 x 160 pixel resolution screen.

3) Philips Xenium 9@9t:

A smartphone offering it also has a talk time battery life of 8.5 hours with a 128 x 160 65K color screen but it will have features like handwriting recognition, MP3 player, miniSD card slot, stylus and it’s a touchscreen. But it fails to mention Bluetooth and IrDA.

No word on pricing still but looks like Phillips is trying to make a comeback in the mobile phone world. Good luck!
