Well, the blessed day is finally here. Today is the day that the coveted Palm Centro will make its debut on Verizon Wireless. The much-awaited smartphone with a full-QWERTY keypad, a touch-screen display and lightweight design should do perfect justice to Verizon’s high-speed data network and we would be really surprised if sending and receiving emails with attachments was any problem on this lovely device. Apart from browsing the net on the cellphone itself, customers can also use their Centro as a modem for their laptops and browse the web using Verizon’s Broadband Access Connect service plan. The phone will be available online as well as in stores starting today and will cost $99.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate for a two-year contract.
