They say ‘everyone’ in the UK owns an iPhone then why have 200,000 Orange customers registered their interest in the upcoming iPhone 3G S. All these interested subscribers do not even know the price at which they will have to fetch the Apple smart phone or the tariff to which they will have to subscribe. The only thing they know is that the iPhone will arrive at Orange UK stores on November 10 which is one day after the exclusive O2 contract will expire. Orange is aware of a tariff war and for starters they are ready with plans like pre-installed apps and free accessories. The war will intensify furthermore in January when Vodafone UK will also make available the 3G S. As far as we customers see it, it will be a win win situation as the carriers will keep slashing the prices to glorify their deals.
