A new version of Opera mini was released today by Opera Software. The latest version on Opera mini is called version 7. The mini browser is now available for download on Google Play store.
The new version would perform faster, with the help of hardware acceleration. This would also provide a smoother panning on the websites. Now you can make as many speed dials as you want, which had a limit on the earlier version. The speed dials are available on the Browser home screen like before.
The new version includes some features from its earlier version like compress (which compresses the web content to minimize the data usage). Compress helps you keep your internet usage under the cap. Websites can be compressed up to 90 percent in some cases. With the help of multi platform support, the browser now has over 160 million users worldwide.
