‘Trying to squash a rumor is like trying to unring a bell’. So here we are, doing our own bit to keep a compelling rumor alive. Who knows, Nokia might actually prove all the rumor-mongers right. The videos and images from the GoPlay event last August do add a lot of credibility to Nokia’s latest gadget. Christened the iPerformer (yes, inspired by the iPhone no doubt!), Nokia’s hype-generating touchscreen phone is nearing market release, purportedly. Consumers can look forward to one of the most exciting touchscreen phones around, since iPerformer is expected to feature a widescreen touchscreen, NaviScroll, QWERTY keypad, GPS, FM radio, FM transmitter, WiFi, Bluetooth, TV out, and….. a Web cam. For once, we really hope this ain’t just a rumor. And when it sees the light of day, it better be priced competitively coz we still dote on the trend-setting iPhone.
