Just as we are seeing mobile phone makers slowly coming out with high-end phones enabled with WiFi, Nokia is all set to take the wireless trend to an all new height with it’s tablet phone, the N810, which apparently will feature WiMax. WiMax is basically the big brother of WiFi. WiMax will have a range of a few kilometres compared to the WiFi’s range of a few metres and WiMax is already being adopted by major cities of the world to ensure seamless internet connectivity on the go. If rumours are to be believed and the Nokia N810 indeed comes out with WiMax, it will be the first mobile phone to do so and will be the trendsetter of the mobile phone industry. One more rumour spreading like wildfire is about the N810 featuring Linux, which, if true, will make it ultra-stable and a very customizable platform which can support almost any number of applications or software mods. If all these rumours turn out to be true, then the Nokia N810 tablet phone will be an absolutely must-have and one very cutting edge mobile communication device.
