This could be called a miniature edition of the desktop PC. I-O Data has produced a small keyboard that can be connected to the mobile phone via Bluetooth. With the mobile phones packed with browsing features, this small keyboard would reduce finger cramps while typing on the mobile phone keypad. Instead, you will get greater flexibility while retaining mobility with this device. The I-O Data keyboard, christened the SPKB/BT is suited for cell phones and PDAs. The Bluetooth and EDR compliant 59-key keyboard measures only 151.5 mm (W) x 92.1 mm (D) x 14 mm (H). Made of anodized aluminum and powered by two AAA alkaline batteries, this cell phone compatible keyboard is capable of working up to a range of 10 m.

In Japan, where this keyboard has first made its appearance, it is priced at 14,800yens. It is however not clear whether this device will be available in other parts of the globe.
