Samsung Omnia, which wanted to steal the Apple phone thunder, is now heading to Japan with some upgraded features. Softbank Mobile in Japan has launched the Windows Mobile pocket pc phone as Omnia 930SC. The phone will come equipped with a built-in mobile TV receiver that will let users enjoy One-Seg media broadcast service. This feature is not present in the handset’s versions for other countries. Moreover, the phone will be available in Black, White and Red color. So, the Japanese are lucky enough to get the multi-hued Samsung Omnia with upgraded features.
Technical Specifications: A 3.3 inch TFT touchscreen display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 3.2 inch display, 1-Seg TV tuner, Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, 5-megapixel camera, and 8GB internal memory.
Pricing and availability: Samsung Omnia will be available from SoftBank in Japan only for an unknown price.
